David Hansen, owner of HFI Web Design built his first website in 1997 using brand new software called “Microsoft FrontPage”. FrontPage made HTML website creation very nice with its “WYSIWYG” (What You See Is What You Get) abilities, not to mention it’s built in FTP capability of publishing to your server. It became a passion of David’s to build a website then see through trial and error how to have these sites rank closer to the first page of popular web browsers. At this early stage of the internet Alta Vista and Yahoo were the big boys, Google didn’t even exist.
David created software through self-taught “Visual Basic” programming and attempted to sell this software over the internet. This is where he found if you aren’t on the first page of the popular search engines, no one will ever notice what you have to offer. It was easy to see that it wasn’t enough to have a nice website, but it needed to be seen by everyone searching the internet typing keywords related to your products.
Back in the late 90s, David’s website creation had to stay merely a passion and hobby because before the rise of the internet David did have a full time position as a VP of a local construction company. David holds a degree in Business & Computer Science, Certified General Contractor license, AutoCAD Design, and has even found time to become a licensed realtor. He has always strived to learn as much as possible for personal improvement with anything placed in front of him.
When the economy started to dive in 2007, David knew it was time to follow his dreams and make the transition into full time Web Design and SEO with HFI Web Design of Jacksonville Fl. The internet is now the number one source the public turns to when searching for help in any area of their lives. Creating beautiful custom websites that also are in-your-face with every click of your mouse is his top priority. If you have a website that merely exists instead of bringing you a constant flow of customers, you need to call David Hansen of HFI Web Design now!
